About us
I have always been passionate about design. As a little girl my grandmother was the inspiration behind being creative. She encouraged and fostered my love for making and instilled in me that, if you put your mind to it, anything is possible.
We started out 30 years ago doing fashion design and illustration. then trained as a product designer before moving into this area of design. We established Rip (as in ripping things up) and Snip (as in using scissors and cutting items) back in 2013 from our love of being creative and producing unique pieces for our customers specifications giving them something they will cherish.
At Rip & Snip we love to make unique items that you can’t find or get anywhere else on the High Street. The best part of our job is working with our clients and making sure we fulfil their dream into a reality.

We do many events around the North East of England and we have made products that have travelled all over the world from the USA, Germany, Belgium to Japan to name just a few. We maintain a high standard and check and re check everything ourselves before we send it out. I won't settle for second best so why should you!
